The S&P 500's Earnings Season
We saw a much better performance of companies versus estimates relative to what we've seen the last few quarters so overall seventy percent of the companies beat the estimates for Q1. Amazon and Metaplast forms missed earnings estimates three of the four quarters in 2022 alphabet missed in all four quarters this time around. We went from an expectation of an earnings decline of about 6.7 percent coming into the earnings season we're at 2.2 percent decline now.
