The Cost of College

The cost of college is so high now it begs the question what are we getting in return and should we support this at public expense all these debates become much more salient and contentious. If college were very cheap no one would say don't go to Brown and explore you know if you want to take four years and wander the library and pay a hundred bucks a year to do it that would be amazing but we don't live in that world. I just wish we knew what was in that black box of what higher education is and how does it persist.
