The Wall Street Volatility Index Climbs to Its Highest Level in Weeks
The c b o e volatility index, known as wall street's fear gauge, climbed to its highest level in weeks. The ten year yield has fallen for five straight weeks. Consumer prices paid by city dwellers in the us. rose more than seven % in may and more than nine % in april on an annualized basis. If this keeps up it will be the highest inflation rate the us. Has experienced since the 19 eighties. But fear not, say investors and the federal reserve....
