In 1942, Reinhardt Hydrich is killed by the Czech resistance in Operation Antthropoite. He chaired the Vanse Conference that speaks about the final solution for the Jewish question. Paul Henrecht who played Victor Lazlo was born as part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. His father was Jewish, but actually had converted Catholicism to hide his Judaism.Henrecht himself was an actor in the 1930s and ran into a lot of antisemitism.
