Is There a Better Set of Circumstances for Advocates of Independence?
Support for independence is a bit higher, probably, according to most polls. Overall it's more or less 50-50 now, whereas it was 55-45 against independence in 2014. But there is not sustained majority support for independence despite all of these things and despite a leader who was regarded by even her opponents as being one of the outstanding politicians of her generation. And I think this is an intriguing moment, and we'll look back at it.
