The Nihilus got their name from a book, a book called Fathers and Sons written by Ivan Turganev. It's like hard to overstate how important books were culturally at the time, right? Because there weren't as many other mediums going on. And some people actually claim that Turganev's earlier collection of short stories called Sportsman Sketch's is what convinced Alexander II to free the serfs.
