A Survivor of the Itaewon Halloween Tragedy
In the Itaewon Halloween tragedy, 159 people died including 26 foreign citizens from 14 different nations. The overwhelming majority were Korean citizens and women, 102 women and 57 men. A young man standing on a high platform on the edge of the alleyway was able to wiggle her out and save her. She had been trapped like that for nearly 50 minutes.
