The Importance of Thinking Outside the Box in Antitrust
There's a lack of clarity on whether this is being done for the sake of US industry or US national security. If it's strictly about industry, then sure subject everybody to the same regulations and everything else. This fixation on leading edge was always going to result in this. To give them money to spend on what they were going to do anyway is going to be wasteful.
