The Difference Between Natural Rights and Human Rights
CNN's John Sutter asks what the distinction is between natural rights and human rights, if any. "Human beings have a natural claim to be treated justly with justifications when their freedoms are being restricted," he says. The right to life did not mean a right to life everlasting or that you could not be put in harm's way by the government; it meant one has a right to be protected from laws unjustified taking the life. What theft is taxation can remove people’s property? “What theft is the taking of property without justification?” we ask.
