Making Blood Is Tough
Scientists have been trying to make artificial or fake human blood in the lab. Blood only lasts 42 days before it goes bad and has to be kept cold that entire time. So scientists have mostly focused on making blood that does one thing. But even that's tricky, so Yodor Gileard Thomas pioneered a new substitute for blood: cows milk. All you have to do is inject fresh milk from a young healthy cow directly into a patient's veins - just as good as blood.
