The Leshy Family

Each forest is said to have its own lesh, unless it's a very large forest. Leshy may have a wife, in some traditions, which is a a lesovica. And then there are sometimes a leshy children, or a lashanki. There's also a variety of leshi sometimes described as a zo botsnick that takes on the guise and sound of a baby gurgling in the tree tops. So here we see an idea of the leshi as a way to explain not only specific storm a damage, but also just the general pattern of like spring storms.
