A, i was challenged by an actress, a blind actress, who said, nobody ever writes characters for people like me who are anything other than nice and helpless. And she said, what i would love to play is a villain and a seductress and something really exciting. So i thought, ok, well, ted's er, ted's long standing girl friend, is this character called ruth, who's the brains behind ted. She lieves passionately that women should give up their jobs for men and stay in the home. Am, as many of these organizations do, they they pick on the vulnerable. I've tried to write real people. O am, real, fully rounded people
