The Conversation Wasn't Just With Me, You Know?
Cooper: I like that notion where, when i the little bit of teaching i got to do in high school as a grad student, you know, i learned in my own ways that there are minimum hierarchies. But at a certain point you do have to let the students know that you don't necessarily know everything. The best teachers are those who are not necessarily talking down to you and giving you all the answers. This is an unconscious process, which is essential for learning. It's this kind of repetition that gets into difeisgets into one position or another. Sometimes it's about knowledge, but sometimes it's about ethical positions too. And i guess i like thinking about it
