The Different Types of ECGs
A STEMI is a patient with clinical features and acute coronary syndrome. And that's in at least two contiguous leads relating to the same section of the heart. The degree of ST segment elevation, particularly when you're looking at different age groups and different sexes on the antariceptal aspect of your ECG is different. A background alteration to the ECG morphology can mask those usual changes that we might expect in a myocardial infarction. So how do we go about assessing these patients and whether they're having an MI or not? Anyone got any assistance for me?
