The Origins of Urkesh in Mesopotamia
The Hurians had a civilization in northern Mesopotamia that was essentially doing what they were doing at the temple of Enki with his Abzu. This pit at Urkesh is called the Abi, which is etymologically the same as the Hebrew word ov, which translates as medium.
