Chat GPT and the European Union's Ban on Chat GPT
chat gpt for the first time is banned in a country but not because ai needs to be regulated or looked at or slowed down just because it doesn't follow current regulation in this country at all. They gave open ai which is the developer of chat gpt they gave them 20 days to respond to how they will address those concerns and if they don't they will incur a penalty of 20 million euros. If one country starts doing this we can expect other european countries to jump on the bandwagon, he says.
