Is the World Lingua Franca of the World?
For now, it is the dominant global lingua franca, for better or worse. In english science, english has become the dominant language of science. There's speculation what's going to be the name - spanish? Mandarin? Spanish? It could be mandr in chinese? Could it be spSpanish? Nobody knows. But for now, ner, one of the points of the book is that a common language is good. It does help us collaborate across borders, across linguistic and ndn national borders. But english cannot do it all. Enoth, english really should exist in a multilangual world.
