The Kinetoscope Is Like a Magic Lantern

In 1891 Thomas Edison invented the phonograph, which was a device used for recording and reproducing sound. The kinetoscope enabled one person at a time to view a moving picture, which then could also have sound applied to it. It's like a magic lantern."
