The dual proxy in service allows you to develop locally as if your program was running in that cluster right and it's transparent to everything else now this is where i've had mixed results i haven't gotten this to fully work. It will even allow you to volume mount things that were in the original pod in the cluster and volume mount that to whatever a local pod might be running so yeah because typically by a kubernetes environment it's going to want to stay within its correct kubernete network yep which this does for you exactly.
