Margaret Thatcher's Strategy for Bringing About the End of the Cold War
Margaret Thatcher said Britain's future is in Europe, not the one her opponents were creating. She saw Europe at the time as being far too concerned with its own internal development. Her strategy for helping to bring about the end of the Cold War had two great pillars: working with Gorbachev and shipping away the Soviet Empire through Eastern Europe.
