Do You Focus Too Much?

We all know that many companies, and especially start ups, failed because they didn't focus enough. But having worked, i multiple startups and been on the board and been in teams,. i noticed that actually there is kind of the flip side of that, that companies tand maybe the next step, if you focus, that's great, but the next apewill face due to over focusing.
