The Power of Reflection
There was no single moment. I remember once I got a letter of commendation from the division commander, a two-star general. It's those kinds of things that help you start to dial in what you really think about yourself and what kind of leader you want to be. He took a magic marker on and wrote, this is BS. I think your company sucks and it’s a joke. This is on my letter of commendation...I'm thinking, whoa, but it was a reminder not to take myself too seriously.
