The Possession of a Right Is Not Subject to Any Conditions

Just having a right doesn't mean that I can automatically exercise it. The right conditions have to be there. Can our natural rights ever be taken away from us? It seems to me that the answer to this question must be no. We have natural rights by virtue of being human beings. You could no more take away our natural rights than you could make it the case that nine isn't divisible by three, just as it belongs to our nature that we have natural rights.
