Easter represents the transition we all go through when we have killed off our former life. Our old self is dead, if not to ourselves, then to others. We do not know whether this is the end or the beginning. And that is the experience of transformation. That is not the hero's journey, but the heroine's journey. It is a story about how you get to a point where you are in the underworld.
