The needs of the child determines to what degree I father. Your ability or your function as a father is determined by your children, not by you. The narrowness right of the fathering narrows as the child grows older often and probably ends up being more spacious and then potent. Maybe there's only, yeah, like deep transformation might happen in the life of your father. And yet there are moments when actually the potency of your precise fathering could be called upon. To show up for that in those moments feels part of that achievement. A man's real power grows and his knowledge widens until at last he chooses nothing.
