Product People Are Your Life Depends on It, Right?
A lot of organizations will have product people talk to customers, generate requirements and then hand it off to engineering. That is the death of good product because once you start playing with the clay, those requirements might go out the window. When they're phrased as must, we must do these things,. And you don't have product minded engineers. You end up devolving into this ticket taker culture where people don't feel empowered to push back on it.
