The Longhouses of the LBK People

There were probably hundreds of thousands of these LBK people, practically all of them descendants of those few earliest LBK pioneers in eastern Austria and western Hungary by about 5,000 BC. For centuries they kept this up, spreading their way of life everywhere from the Ukraine to the English Channel,. But then, quite suddenly, this remarkably homogenous LBK society essentially collapsed over much of its extent. How do we know? Because archaeologists have found a bunch of massacre sites from late LBK settlements in different regions after 5,000BC.
