The Police Aren't Killing Black People
In a typical year, about 1000 people overall are fatally shot by police officers in the United States out of about 60 million police interactions. Less than 30% of them are black; 70 to 80% of individuals killed by the police are Caucasian, white, or Hispanics. The large majority of people who are involved in violent clashes with the police are people who are attacking law enforcement officers or committing crimes.
