Climate Change and the End of the Earth

David Wallace Wells in his book from 2018 The Uninhabitable Earth Life After Warming. Partly driven by that or at least a reaction to or an attempt to try to defuse that type of extinction narrative. What has arisen is a story here that I call technological mastery. It's been given particular power as a reaction to this idea of planetary ending because of climate change.
