The Unity of a Family

If you think of the family, that's how I mean dad and mom, what's father and mother. Those are roles, relationships, but it's not like a hat they wear,. nor would it be right to say or like children that our identity is enmeshed in this as being parts of a particular whole. And so when we talk about the common good, we're just talking about the order that obtains among the persons who pertain to a particular unit of life.
