The Old West and the Old West

Red Dead Redemption 2 manages to rival Skyrim in the sense of discovery. The game has a lovely languid pace with all of these interesting characters that you come across each with their own interesting backstories and deep complex thoughts and feelings at least for the most part. Those party sequences are the closest thing to VR without the goggles that you could get like it is just living that life. I love John Abigail's voice, he can make any character seem real even if they don't look like him. Red Dead 1 didn't vibe with me anyway near as much as Red Dead 1 but I still largely love my time with it.
