When there is violence downtown and on the north side and it impacts white people, proclamations get made. We tolerate high levels of violence on the south and west sides that we would not tolerate as a city the north and downtown side. That's the structural race sistem. But every regime that does not tolerate murder includes the police policing. And that has not been a popular project among the very same people who made the decision to tell you as news consumers that gun violence needs to be paid attention to.
