There were four areas in my house where there was a single switch controlling four ceiling lights. To buy 12 em hue lights that would fit into all those sockets was going to be like uno 500 dollarsthe they're expensive to get those floodlt those hue flood lights. Where lutron caseta was actually cheaper, because i didn't have to replace the balbs all. I di os replace the switch, and you did have to buy that base unit. With me having other people in the house, the replacing the switches was by far the superior answer. But if i was alone, i could see myself going the hue route,. cause i do like the idea of having multi coloured
