The Importance of a Manual Blood Pressure Cuff

There is a pad of jugger reflex. You basically give them a fluid bolus. It's not specific for right heart failure even though it is first described with tricusp of regurgitation. But that gives you a sense that someone has high feeling pressures. These have been shown in multiple clinical trials looking at different heart failure drugs, your physical exam and those findings actually predict mortality just as well as biomarkers or echocardiograms.
