My Favorite Characters
I think the common thread is there about women who refuse to fit in. And that's something that runs through all her work. It's kind of defiance that sometimes appears self-destructive, but it's ultimately about refusing to accept the position that society has allocated to them. I definitely felt most excited to turn the page when I saw the heading Lee Jiachi, and I knew it was one of her chapters. Not to knock on Chongqong's chapters, they were fine, but I enjoyed the Jiachi ones a bit more,. maybe because she did go a bit more off the rails. So probably that moment, those three would be my favourite characters.
