Armed Drones Can Do Just That

The Kaminem Air Base in Syria was assaulted on at least three separate occasions by successive waves of handmade attack drones. The attacks effectively grounded the entire air base for the better part of a week. Most people listening to this podcast could probably build one with minor guidance, given the right equipment. It's hard to say exactly how much these costs to prepare, but just looking at them, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole attack cost $20,000 or less.
