The Morality of Debt and Deficit in the United States
Congressman French Hill of Arkansas says it's immoral to have a debt and deficit that are not controlled. He would support a commission like the Greenspan Commission, which put Social Security on a stable ground by cutting taxes and rebuilding defense in Reagan's first term. The House is expected to pass an amendment this week keeping U.S. paying its debts even if we don't raise the debt ceiling.
