The Taliban Are Still Quite Defiant in Their Public Posturing
The Taliban are still quite defiant in, you know, their public posturing. We have also seen doctor agantata, the hakani group, and sirajudin hakani himself, honoring and presenting money or purses to families of suicide bombers who were killed by the tal so dos. That particular meeting and the statements which accompanied it did send a very negative message. But the point is that if we look at afghanistan, and different factions in organistan, and the nature of the regime in afganistan are purely from a historical perspective then clearly we will not make our progress.
