The Lacking Father Figures, Right?
"White christmas" is about the lack of father figures. The characters are cynical visa vi other in their presence rit, but they're completely idealized the other that they're writing to. "They fantasize this non lacking other," says author Margaret sullivan. 'That's a funny thing, rigt like, they can that,' she adds.
