The Causal Sequence of Numbers
In a new book, I'll be focusing especially on arguments for the existence of God that have been made in the last 20 years. Craig Lok's classic approach to the Kalam argument can be improved by using an example from Coons. To draw out my point, imagine if instead of just reciting numbers for all eternity, our eternal counter wrote each negative number down on a separate sheet of paper God made for him in that moment. In the present moment, when his countdown is finished, there will be an actual infinite number of papers each with a different negative number on it. This would be similar to Lok's example involving Hilbert's Hotel and how an infinite past creates an actual infinite collection
