The pandemic has changed how work fits into our lives and in some cases, our identities. For office workers, one of the biggest shifts was where work was done. Pre-pandemic, only around 6% of workers in the U.S. worked from home. That changed to 37% in the spring of 2020; now over two years later, one in four Americans still work remotely.
