Hamlet: Synopsis
Shakespeare Anyone?
Hamlet and the Sililoquis
Hamlet is upset that his mother recovered from his father's death so quickly and remarried. Hamlet wonders why he can't just dissolve into a do and die, or why divine law is against suicide. In the Sililoqui, he laments the uselessness of everything in the world. We wish Hamlet to bury his grief and think of Claudius as his new father.
