Alison angles's interest in philosophical dialectics peremptively prepared him for darwin's theory of evolution. He assimilated new scientific discoveries into his philosophical and political critiques. His materialism was able to function as a critique, not only of philosophical idealism, but also overly mechanistic materialisms. It may seem preposterous to say that angles was for close to the way of thinking that darwin’s origin of the species represented. But when darwin and wallace presented their ideas, at that time, angles was thinking very much along the same linesin in broader terms.
