Web Application Frameworks

React was created as far as I understand to support the meta slash Facebook use case, which is precisely the scenario of somebody living within that site for a long time and that website effectively being a web app. The key aspect isn't the technology or the fact that maybe they changed something, they were effectively rebuilding the same thing only maybe slightly better. Most other frameworks are either some sort of a take on react or a reaction to react. They're all very much influenced by react. It's not an advanced model but it's at least a first way to cut through some of the noise about framework land.
