Phase One Clinical Trials Are Already Swayed in the Other Direction
There is under representation of minorities in the vast majority of clinical trials, and that needs to be addressed. In phase one, Dr Fisher is right. There's over representation of minorities because phase one trials do offer compensation. The compensation is for, is for inconvenience and time. But it is compensation. And, you know, people underprivileged people disproportionately tend to take advantage of that.
