In the book of exodus and in genesis, there are specific words for killing. They're specifically used to tell you what kind of a death it is. Here it says that moses struck the egyptian. It doesn't say that he killed him. We get the connotation that moses is angry or upset. He is killing the skyright. Why aren't they using the word to kill? Because that was not his intent, i think.
