The Horror of Host
This didn't frighten me in the same way that host did. But I enjoyed it because if you're going to do stuff lurking in the shadows, there's a slight riff on poltergeist. Sophie Thatcher was fantastic in the lead as the teenager who goes to school and her friends aren't sympathetic. And the kind of the brutality of school life. So I think he's a very fine director. It'd be interesting to see what Rob Savage does next. Because what I would like is for him to have the facilities, the expanse that he's had with this, but also the originality of something like host.
