The store was set up like an n y c brookstone, complete with a working fireplace and a giant couch bed. The tag lines like hay hes a going recruitment tactics and all the terrible treatment of em the employees, are a hundred percent true. Visual managers were almost exclusively held by 23 to 28 year old women. While plenty of male managers, none of them wanted to take on visual manager position because women were just better at it. Across all the stores i had only ever had one male store manager. Floors were overwhelmingly run by female associates or impact management due to gender rolls being split between men and women.
