How to Calculate a Discount for a Witness

I think this is maybe the most common question when I discuss, but I've literally given presentations about people talk about this. Like, what does this discount? Why is it one quarter? What is actually going on here? It's really important, that's what I'm saying. So we're trying to add this extra data that doesn't go into the TXT. And so if you want a 10 meg block, then you can add nine meg of extra space. But as you're adjusting your block size target, you're adjusting also proportionally how much of the block is the sex to witness data and how much of them are normative transaction data.
