The Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy

The Methodists are a prime example of persecuting an action in a way. The Texas sharpshooter fallacy is the idea that you find commonality in a reference class after the fact and try to say that they're all in common. So it becomes fallacious in that way. Let's move forward to the Bible a little bit because you would think if the Bible were perspicuous, it would teach this doctrine for people. How should we approach that?
